america is surely "looking" for bin laden, but even if we do get him, he probably will not die. the u.s. needs people like him to cause trouble so it gives us a reason to place troops in different areas. in a perfect world, the u.s. would keep their noses out of other nations' business. the majority of the terrorism that we suffer from basically started when we recognized israel as a country. it also doesn't help that we are predominately christian and they are muslims either.

Ok your asking what Bush wanted. I think he wanted both. OBL terrorized our country and murdered thousands of our people, while lets face there has been a long time Bush vs. Hussein (think back to the Gulf War). WMD--maybe, likely, probably, but the thing that bothers me is the money. We are crying over illegals, yet look at the BILLIONS going to Iraq. They have all that oil, surely they have money. Let them finance their own, and let us feed the poor in our own backyard....

We are looking for Bin Laden, and he did want to "get" Hussein. But we didn't go into Iraq for Bin Laden. We're in Afghanistan for that.
