and recently his ex-wife, who he has a daughter with; has been contacting him. When we first started talking i knew that she was not a factor but recently she has been. I have only spoken to him for 5mins in the last 2 days which is a big deal because nearly all of our relatioship is on the phone. In those five minutes he told me that he and his ex had spoken and she just left and he put me on hold for a minute i hung up and have not spoken to him since. I love him but we are not together, we're just friends... we know of each others feelings and yet I feel so.... grrr. So my question is should I just let him go? I know it will be hard but I hate feeling like this... being put on hold... it's not fair... but I want to justify it so it will be fair so i can keep him in my life. So like what do you think?

Well I look at it like this. You are an attractive girl (if that's you on the pic) and if you hung up when he put you on hold and he hasn't called you back, then you know better.
Why hasn't he called you back? You shouldn't be the one to have to call him.
You also have to think about this. You guys aren't even together. So technically, he can mess around with his ex wife or whoever else he wants to wherever he is and you can get mad all you want, but you really can't say anything to him about it cuz you ain't his girl.
So pretty much, don't put your life on hold. And I'm sure you are saying you aren't, but at the same time, I know you aren't going out there and being single like you would if he wasn't in the picture.
If you decide to move on (cuz I can't make that decision for you) then yes it's going to be hard, because it's always harder to leave than it is to stay. But remember how you are feeling right now. And guess what, what you are feeling right now, I bet when he calls you, you will forget all about how you are feeling.
Don't let that happen.
Good luck.

You should tell him how you feel...closed mouths do not get fed. You feel comfortable enough to ask a stranger, you should feel the same way talking to him about it. Esp. if your "just" friends...but from the looks of you...girl you can do better with out all that mess...DO YOU! Good luck!
