Alright, so he killed the thing. It wasn't on purpose. He said he uses the broom the scare them away, since he's a window washer and the birds close. He hit one by accident!! This guy has 31 pets!! Why would he KILL a seagull on purpose.
He got fired from his job, and the place that hired him to do the window washing, was "fired" from washing those windows anymore. I think it's absolutly rediculous!!!!! Fired!@?!> How many damn seagulls are there around???
I am not for animal volience, but come on...they already fired him from his job, and now he may go to jail for 5 yrs!! That is a REALLY long time for someone to go to jail for a simple mistake!!
What are your takes on this?

I really don't see anyone (except those losers in the other office building) actually saying that he should be punished!! Seriously, when he goes to court, the jury will set him free. This is enough punishment for him already!!

this is the stupidest thing in boston for a while a human dangling from ropes a hundred or so feet in the air and whether intentional or not kills a seagull to keep him from possibly falling and he's looking at going to the klink because some tree hugging freaks that got nothing better to do are watching the stupid seagulls out the window everyday and putting up signs saying congratulations when the eggs hatched is ridiculous to the best of my knowledge seagulls can't read and like massachusetts don't have a billion others to replace that one is just plane idiotic

Why would you kill seagulls? merely because you hate them? Hating some thing isn't any reason to kill it. If we went round killing each thing we hated finally someone would imagine of you as a seagull and then.. your lengthy gone. So do not kill seagulls.

I work in back bay and was reading the herald today and I cannot believe that guy is getting a felony on top of losing his job! I think it was way overblown, I mean if he flipped off the office people that is one reason he should be written up at the most but come on way overblown people and I am the most hardcore liberal there is!

i don't think that is fair either.. we have the same law in ontario as well.. that killing a seagull is illegal.. i'm not sure if its a go to jail type of crime.. i don't understand why its illegal its not like there seems to be a sortage of them... but i guess if it was legal to kill them people would be killing them all over the place.. and then they wouldn't be about to clean up the garbage they do..

either way i don't think he should serve time or lose his job..
