It is still under 90 degrees here so heat isn't a problem yet.

She is a shopoholic bless her little heart, she can't help it, that baby probably just sleeps or cries in there anyway, she keeps the windows up so no one bothers it, my girl needs her shopping time like all us ladies and the baby always blows lunch all over her when she tries to lug it around, she says she will leave the a/c on when it starts to get too hot here.

So far your question is the most ridiculous one of all of them today. How dare your daughter leave a precious life in a car while she goes shopping. Have you ever thought for a second, the baby could be abducted?????????? Hello????????? Anybody home??????????? We live in an insane world today. The temperature doesn't have anything to do with anything. If she needs to shop that bad, why doesn't she take the baby with her? Can't she afford a baby stroller or is it too inconvenient for her?
Has she ever thought for one second to get someone to watch the baby such as a babysitter she could trust?
What in the world is wrong with these people nowadays?
Has she completely lost her mind or does she have one?
Does she know that if she were caught leaving her baby in a parked vehicle by the police she could be arrested and the baby could be taken away from her? You and your daughter need to grow up!!!!!!!!

My wife, many years ago was at a shopping mall in the early summer with our first child. When my wife got out of the car and was going on the other side to get our daughter out of the car, the car locked with the keys inside. My wife went to get help. This was long before cell phones. The police arrived at the parked car before my wife could return after trying to get help. The police were very very close to arresting my wife for leaving the child in a parked car. The police heard the full story and then excused themselves and helped my wife to open the car. It was not hot in the car yet, but that is not the point. Please use your brain and never never leave a child in a car by themselves. If you do, you are asking for big big trouble and you will get it. To you and your daughter, please be responsible, a baby is so precious.

I think u shouldn't leave a baby in a car no matter what, even though it may be under 90 degrees outside it can easily be higher in the car. Not only that but there is also the dangers of someone trying to take the car and take the baby with them. If
you can't take the baby with u call a relative or a good babysitter ect. to take care of it for you.

in Pennsylvania, it's illegal for a child to be in a car unattended that young. what would happen if she left the air conditioning run and was in shopping for a half hour and the car stalled and the air conditioner stopped and the baby suffocated to death from the heat? what if your daughter fell and hit her head and was knocked unconscious and was taken to the ER and no one knew the baby was in the car for hours or days even? what if someone who tried to have children for years unsuccessfully broke the windows to steal the baby and did successfully---windows have been broken for purses, people have been killed for their shoes! i know she doesn't think she is doing wrong, but it only takes one person to report it to the authorities and she could lose that precious little baby. it doesn't matter what the temperature is outside the windows and low circulation make it super hot in there for a baby. the internal temp or the car could be way off 100 degrees. baby's brains WILL swell from the heat. when the brain is in distress, even though it -the brain- controls every organ in the body, it is the dumbest organ...it only knows how to swell to defend itself. please tell her not to leave her child unattended. have a great day and good luck. by the way, if she does this now, later she will probably leave the child unattended in the bathtub or playing in the yard, so beware, mom...there's more to come.

That is absolutely ridiculous! If the child doesn't die then it's a real possiblity she'll be kidnapped & then your daughter put in jail for leaving her in the car. And what if the baby got choked while she was shopping & no one was there? Use common sense, leave that child with a babysitter. Who would put shopping before your own childs safety? Unreal.

ITS CALLED CHILD ENDANGERMENT KNOW MATTER HOW U LOOK AT IT

omfg thats crazey it dont matter what temp it is outside a car truck van etc inside temp can reach higher temps than that if even parked in the shade and windows cracked , your daughter must not have read in the papers or watched the news in the past 5 years , every year a child dies because a parent thinks its ok to leave there young child in the car while they run into a store to get something ,, its not ok they can die because of the heat , another thing your daughter is taking a risk of her child being kidnapped if someone an adult is in the car with the baby / child then it should be ok as long as the adult stays with the child in the car , but not at anytime should a child under 12 be left in a car alone at any time , especially a infant . if its 80 outside a cars temp inside can be 100 if not higher , think of how hot u get sitting in a car waiting for someone , and picture your self as the baby , you as an adult can open the door u can roll the windows down but the baby cant do that at all so like i said not at anytime , and i hope and pray your grand baby is not one of the next babies i hear about on the news or read about in the paper let your daughter know that its not safe for the child at all the car can be stolen , the baby can die of heat stroke , etc , if the babys sleeping and she needs something from the store have her wait till the baby wakes up or just take the baby out of the infant seat and take baby in the store with her , it may be a lil incovenant for your daughter to wait till the baby wakes up but the incoveince is worth more than the jail time she ccan get for leaving the child in the car and it dies , or even the pain and sorrow it may cause when the baby is kidnapped

well for as long as she wants...when she goes to jail for being negligent she can explain that she was just going to be a minute...

unless someone is in the car with the baby that's a very stupid question... I do not mean to sound mean but this is the honest truth of what would happen if someone called in, it may be under 90 degrees but babies are usually bundled up in too many layers and could get sick from heat exhaustion.... and just think
what if the car rolled away or was broken into??

They have carseats and buggy seats for a reason...

Not for one second.. Obviously she's not a good mother if she's leaving her kid anywhere unattended.. Especially while shopping.. Is she nuts?? She can get arrested in some states for that!!..... Or someone can see the baby unattended and call DHS on her and take her baby away.. Ever heard of "child negligence"? Gimme a break, get a sitter, or invest in a stroller.. They make those so you CAN take your 3 month old around with you..

you must really be stupid or something. anyone with half a brain wouldn't even THINK about leaving an infant alone in a car let alone actually ASK what time frame to do it in. Your daughter needs a visit from CPS to explain why if she doesn't get it either. I have to say, this is the most idiotic question i have yet to see on this site.

It is never good to leave a baby in a car while you go shopping. If she don't want to take the baby shopping, then she should get the babies GRANDMA to babysit. What has happened to people these days. It could get kid-napped or die from no AIR in the car. Babies will always be more important then shopping and spending money to make one self look big. Yikes, get help before it is to late.

Your not serous are you. You should never leave an infant in a parked car. If you or your daughter don't get that then maybe you shouldn't have the child in the first place.

You sound like a real winner as a grandmother, "It" come on Putting your grandchild's life on the line just so your daughter can have her shopping time.
