In the 4th or 5th century, the Goths had to flee their lands and enter the Roman Empire because of the Hun invasion.
In the 19th century, the many Irish were forced to leave Ireland due to the "Great Potato Famine".
In the late 70's many Persians (Iranians) had to flee Iran because they were supporters of the Shah (who was being deposed by a new govt)

The Romans, forced the Pagan out of Great Britain .
Of course the Jews had to leave Europe or face death during the early days of 1930-1940 or risk the wrath of Hitler.

unfortunately, all happened here 1)slaves brought to the U.S., 2)movement of native americans to reservations, and 3) the internment of japanese americans in the 1940's.
