The US. Government relocation of the Choctaw and Cherokee Indians which is now called The Trail of Tears in the 1830's.

In the 4th or 5th century, the Goths had to flee their lands and enter the Roman Empire because of the Hun invasion.
In the 19th century, the many Irish were forced to leave Ireland due to the "Great Potato Famine".
In the late 70's many Persians (Iranians) had to flee Iran because they were supporters of the Shah (who was being deposed by a new govt)
