Either because your rotors are warped or because you need an alignment. If your rotors are warped, get them replaced and not shaved or it will just recur.

To start with,a wobble at those speeds indicate wheels out of balance, bad wheel bearings, bent rims, bad tires(bubbles on tires),bad tie rod ends, etc. It is hard to say without inspecting the vehicle. As far as when applying the brakes, first diagnoses would be warped brake rotors. But then again, without inspecting the vehicle,or listening to the driver's complaint(description of problems),it is hard to make a definite diagnosis.

Have your vehicle inspected by a certified technician.

Possible causes are: wheel imbalance, brake rotor warpage, or suspension component failure.

NOT alignment!

Do not waste your time asking for an alignment

Consult with a qualified technician to determine the cause

wheel balance will cause vibration at highway speeds. distorted brake rotor or worn tie rod ends could cause your problem when braking at these speeds.
someone mentioned wheel alignment. wheel alignment will NOT cause vibration, unless the angles are severely out of spec, in which case you will feel the tires scrubbing the pavement. this is not the likely cause of your problem.
i would take it to have wheels balanced and have them "shake down" the steering and suspension system while they have it in the air.
