Just go onto sonic stage and delete the songs.

You can format the whole thing in the menu on the device, that means delete all the song and start all over again. But you'll need SonicStage to put the music on there. If you already installed your software that came with it, it'll be easy......I Hope but that is a sucky MP3 Player. I think Sony's could've done a much better and easier way of putting music on this thing. I gave that thing to my mother because I hated it, I have a PSP now and it's so raw! I mean you can do absolutely amazing, even if you're not a gamer you'll love this device, if you like watching your own Music Videos on a widescreen 3:5 ratio screen this is the device for you.

You should be able to go to the Sony website and find the manual if you type in your model number.

Plug it into your computer and go into what you use to put music onto it. And just click on the song or songs and click delete.
