Go to the yahoo yellow pages and look up the # for an emergency vet in your area. The emergency vet is exactly what it sounds like...it's for emergencies...times when you need to take your pet to the vet right away, like if it gets hit by a car or something, and you can't wait for Monday or the next morning when the vet is open. They open at about the same time the normal vet closes and they are open on weekends and holidays too. You should always just have the # of an emergency vet in your phone book along with your normal vet's # just in case.

You haven't given enough detail for us to even hazard a guess, but there are some possibilities. How old is your bunn? Has this happened suddenly, or over some weeks? It could really be anything from teeth problems ... often rabbits go off their food if they have 'malocclusion', and their teeth are giving them discomfort - this can be seen to by a rabbit-savvy vet. Or it could be an ear infection, or snuffles ... any symptoms of a runny nose or eyes? It's really hard to know for you, let alone for us ...

But one of the best ways to ascertain a bunn's health is by looking at how her droppings are. Rabbits are prone to digestive upsets and blockages, especially when they're moulting. Is she moulting? Has she had unusual droppings? Has she had diarrhoea? Diarrhoea could be caused by a sudden change in food, or unsuitable vegies, or some nasty intestinal bugs, which a rabbit-savvy vet can treat. Alternately, has she had small, dry droppings? This is a sign of constipation. Is her stomach bloated? If her stomach's bloated or swollen, this is a sure and bad sign. If you think it's gas or constipation, you can also gently massage and rub her stomach to help her digestive movement, and treat her with pineapple juice - if you think it's a stomach blockage, furball, constipation, one of the best treatments for rabbits who are suffering constipation/furballs/stomach blockages is pure unsweetened pineapple juice. I've written an article on this at
http://au.geocities.com/leaswebsite/bunnystomachhealth.html
Also try offering her all types of fruit and vegies that she's familiar with - apple and pear is usually pretty tempting to bunns.

Continue to give her water, and call the vet in the morning, but I would not worrie to much if this is the fist day of her not eating I would also suggest to keep a carrot or somthign in there over night? but it is problably to late for you to get this post before you go to sleep, I thing ever thign will be ok.... Just see what the vet has to say...

That's not much info to go off of. You need to provide more. Your rabbit might even start eating tomorrow. During the summer rabbits don't eat as much. If you're still really concerned, you can call another veterinarian to take it to or just wait till tomorrow. A rabbit going off of its feed for one day won't kill it.

I would continue giving her water and maybe take her to the vet tomorrow morning. How do you know that she is not eating? How long do you think it has been since she ate last>
