i'm planning to get color contacts w/ prescription of course. that's because i wear glasses most of the time and it's quite heavy and annoying. anyways, i'm having hard time to decide what color i should get. i'm asian with light brown hair and olive skin tone. i want them to look natural yet noticeable - people have been telling me that i don't look full asian so i guess i can somehow get away if i wear blue contacts or hazel? what is your suggestion?

sorry. my natural eye color is reddish brown. and i don't have the typical asian eyes - slanted/chinky. i'm not trying offend anybody but i'm just try to give out as much details as i can.

im asian an ive worn amethyst it actually looks really nice.. cuz i have light brown eyes.. but dang girl whats up with the slanted/chinky thing lol i mean i dont have that, cuz i have big eyes and the double eyelids but still chill out with the asian chinky stuff.. lol but anyways.. i got tired of my colored contacts after a while.. and now i just get the normal contacts.. cuz you can tell when people wearn colored contacts.. they just look fake you feel? .. but yea.. do what u do.. but u'll be over them after awhile. cuz ur natural color is soo much better...

It depends on your prescription. There are several different types of colored contacts. I worked for an eye doctor and had the opportunity to try different colors on. I have hazel eyes, and it was difficult to change the color. A good doctor should be able to give you a recommendation based on your natural eye color.

You should ask your eye doctor or the techincan if you can test the different colors that they offer sometimes they offer quite a few different shades. See which ones you like or take a friend a long to help you. But if it were me I would check out a green color.

hazel would look really nice, or grey. avoid any weird colors like violet or sapphire blue, i mean, i don't care if you're asian or not, as long as you're looking a tiny bit asian, it's very easy to tell that there's no way in hell your eye color is blue or purple. so go for hazel.

You don't say what color your eyes are now. I would go with a similiar color. Don't make it to drastic. I don't think you will like it. There is a reason you were born with the color you now have. I'm guessing it's because someone has great taste.

My BEST FRIEND IS ASIAN & AFRICAN AMERICAN AND SHE GOT GREEN, HAZEL & BLUE (GO FIGURE) BUT SHE SAID THAT THEY WILL LET YOU TRY THEM ON IN THE STORE AND YOU CAN KEEP THE SAMPLES. (LOL--THEY DON'T WANT THEM BACK AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN IN YOUR EYES) BUT THE SAMPLES DON'T HAVE THE MUCH NEEDED PRESCRIPTION IN THEM. DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK. PLUS YOU CAN GET A BETTER FEEL FOR WHAT GOES BEST WITH YOUR SKIN & YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW VERSITAL YOU CAN BE.

im asian and i wear turquoise. u can pull of hazel or blue if u like. ask them for a pair of trial ones so u know what they look like before u buy. they always have trial samples there for u..oh and my eyes aren't like that either. =)

just by your description it seems to me that you can get away with wearing Hazel, Grey (would look Nice on your skin tone) I'm African American and i wear color contacts but their light brown and Grey also looks nice on me....

I would just get a slightly different shade of the color that your eyes are now.

if you are going to get them, get a natural looking color like blue, black, brown, or green.
when i saw some girls wearing purple or red, it looked so fake and ugly
