i know its kind of tacky, but everyone loves it...have a luau!
i mean but do it the fun way, my birthday is in feb and a few years ago we had a luau, the whole house was covered in those hanging palm trees, and everyone got good lays, not the plastic kind and we had everyone wear bathing suits and just cranked up the heat. punch and coconuts and fresh pineapple and fruit trays made everyone forget it was so cold outside and you could totally sex it up a bit now that you're going to be sweet sixteen.
but honestly take it from someone who had a CRAZY sweet sixteen do exactly what you want and just have fun! everything will fall into place when you just let it be and don't forget to just look supppppppppperrrrrr good...i mean you're the STAR of the party!
TELL ME WHAT KIND OF SWEET SIXTEEN AND I CAN GET YOU AN AMAZING THEME THRU MY EVENT PLANNER.
(don't worry i'm only 17 so it won't be like mom planned it lol)

Roller blading party with pizza and boys.
