I absolutely loved The Giver by Lois Lowry. it is part of a trilogy including Gathering Blue and Messenger. I loved these books and was a little dispointed when i ran out of pages at the end lol

"The Black Arrow," "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and "Treasure Island," all three by Robert Louis Stevenson,
the "Hornblower" series starting with "Mr. Midshipman Hornblower," by C. S. Forester,
"The Prisoner of Zenda" and "Rupert of Hentzau," by Anthony Hope,
"Dracula," by Bram Stoker, and
"The Call of the Wild," by Jack London,
are all really good adventure tales. Most have some romance, too, especially the two by Anthony Hope. Enjoy your summer reading!

The Chronicles of Narnia?? (all the 7 of them) It would be a great collection :) or if you like mysteries, try Agatha Christie's works..

the cay - by theodore taylor
its a great book.
its about a plane crash, and a young boy. he survives and lives on an island with another person who survived and they learn to build shelter and find food. they dont know if theyll ever be rescued. youd be surprised how it ends :)
