I reakon u should go for it, the same thing happened to me, i met a boy when i was working abroad 4 years ago, when we got back to england i still liked him loads but i was stupid and didnt have the guts to be straight with him so in the end we both moved on, when i found out he was seeing someone i was gutted and just decided to go for it and ask him how he felt about me and the rest is history.....turned out he still liked me and four years on we are together still and buying a house together next year, best decision i ever made!! x

If you didn't think it would work, it prolly won't! But if you cant stop thinking of him, try being friends for a while and see where it goes. Having him as a friend is better than not at all.

best to trust in the first instict-..let him get on with his life. memories are like driving a car.... get occassional glimpses in the rear view mirror but never look back otherwise you will crash.

if he is back with his girlfriend you should let him be as you missed your chance.
As if you were with him you would not want some other girl trying to get to your guy.
