If the character names are unique, do a yahoo search for the names..if not use multiple names together to format a group name search. should give a decent result

Sounds easy...try typing the character in the yahoo search engine and you will eventually find what you are looking for. On the other hand, if you are really of interest about the kind of books you would like to read, you must not forget the title of it or at least the person who wrote it.

The quickest way would be to ask a librarian. They're trained to find those kinds of answers and that's what they're there for.

You can always ask here too. Just tell us the name of the characters and some general idea of the story. Somebody out there just might know the answer.

Try posting the names of those characters on a question-site (like this one!) and let others whov'e read the book tell you the title!

This is an excellent question. You'd think there was a database for everything out there now.. I tried to do it on Amazon, without any success. Now they'll just try to steer me to some weird books I don't want.
