I don't know how old I was but I have this one picture in my head, that, for some reason, I feel is my first memory. I don't know why I think that........but my brain seems to tell me. I'm just looking at my grandma's kitchen wall. It's just like a flash or a still photo in my mind. Probably I was just learning to walk on my own. Like a year or maybe 2 years? I dunno.
My kids say they remember things when they were this age and I am sure they are right about a few things they say.

I can remember when I was in daycare (before kindergarten) and even though most of it is still fuzzy, I can remember this one time in daycare either me or my sister vomited and had to go home. Also we were watching cartoons, and this girl had a Garfield cereal holder, which she used as a pillow. I also remember playing hide & seek where we would do arts and crafts.I also remember meeting my grandfather for the first time, I think when I was 2 years old.

I can remember from about 10 months old I think. I had climbed out of my crib and had gotten under the bathroom sink. I got caught by my mom sprinkling Comet all over the carpet. After that , at about 18 months, I remember climbing up a pole in a pizza joint. I was a busy kid......

i can trace it back to almost the very beginning. i can do this simply because what had happened during these times were really really tramatic to a young kid. i can remember a time when i was 2 almost 3 when i fell down the stairs and cut my lip open. i needed 4 stitches to close it up. i remember this because my dad was holding me against his white shirt, and by the time we got to the hospital, his shirt was almost completely red.

I remember playing with a toy cash register when I was about 1 and a half, but I'm in my early teens now, so that's not much of an accomplishment. LOL
