I have a dear friend, his daughter's name is Lacey. It was the first time I'd ever heard that name. I think it's beautiful.

If your name is Lace... it would be common but your name is Lacey which sounds cute and uncommon. I have heard it though but i dont think its common. I like it. Your name is not just good, its the best.

good. but my friend's name is alaysa, we call her lacey.
if you want it to be different try shortening it differently, like cey or cc its cute and orginal, plus there isn't very many "Cey"s around
