Is there a difference between a regular textbook and an international edition? I want to resell my "Life-Span Development" book, but the ISBN # 0071116443 isn't coming up. I looked up the title and found the book (with a different picture on the cover) under ISBN# 0073194174. Can I re-sell this on Amazon/Ebay under the non-international ISBN or would that be considered misrepresentation?

I have purchased the international edition of a book before, just make sure to specifically state that it IS international edition, not the hardcover, and note whether or not it has any cds or other packaged items with it. Also be sure to mention that it is used...

You should sell it under its ISBN. It is misrepresentation if you try to sell it under the non-international ISBN. People may do a search for that ISBN and then not read the description or something and not know that it's the international book. The ISBN that you say when selling should match what's on the book that you're selling. Otherwise, it's like fraud.

I would call it misrepresentation if the ISBN number is not accurate.
