i need some help because i want some facts that are fun to read about the liver

it is the only organ that can reproduce itself in time. this is why people who abuse drugs and alcohol can still have a chance to live a good life. it does not take much to overwhel the liver one or two drinks. yet it can fix itself in time.

Well what would you like to know about the liver? The liver works as a "filter" in sort of a way. Medications are broken down in the liver. Your liver is also involved in the production of elements that help your blood to clot. This is just a small tidbit of info--but the main function of the liver is to act as a filter and metabolizer.

Interesting question ..... fun facts about the liver .... I don't think I've ever thought of the liver in terms of "fun". Usually when people are talking about the liver they are talking about diseases of the liver.

From what I have studied about the liver, they say it's just a big waste organ but it has many functions, did you know you can give someone half of your liver and you both can live a normal life with half.

It's permenantly regenerating it's self. Even serious alcoholics, have been know to have a fully functioning liver after 3 months of no booze.
beetroot is know as a good treatment for cleansing of the liver

Well, they clean the foods you eat. That's something. And it is one of the most important organs; you lose a liver = you die.

Why in the world would someone want to eat an organ that filters all of the impurities out of blood!!??!! Does it stand to reason that it would be one of the dirtiest organs of all living creatures that have one.

I know that the more you drink the more it damages your liver....you would think that knowing that I would....er I mean, people would stop drinking so much ;)

You only need about a 5th of it to lead a normal life. It regenerates itself and you may transplant part of it to another person.
