I want to show movies for friends in my back yard. Is there somewhere that I can rent a screen and projector in my area?

at any rent a room or any other party rental place, or you could just buy the projector use and return it. try and find a big box store like walmart etc.. they take anything back.

You can find a digital projector for rent at most local computer rental stores. You can plug it into your computer or a dvd player. Just search yahoo local in your city. If they are a half way decent store, they should have a screen you can rent also. (I just hung a white sheet off the edge of my roof and it worked fine for me)
