It was on Seinfeld, but it was in a movie with Meryl Streep (I think called "Cry in the Dark") that was based on a true case in Australia where a woman was tried for murdering her child in some sort of sacrifice. Her defense was that "Dingos ate her baby".

it actually comes from a true story about a woman (Lindy Chamberlain), in Australia, whose baby was supposedly taken from her tent at a campsite.

there was a move made about it starring meryl streep, the film was called "A Cry In The Dark."
