I agree with the first answer. Bleeding at 8 months is a cause for concern. You may have an infection. If you are not comfortable with the answer that your doc gave you, go for a 2nd opinion. Your health and your baby's health is important!

Urine leakage is completely normal. Your baby is pressed against your bladder. Everytime you sneeze, cough, laugh to hard, heck, even fart, you can leak. I know it's stressful to have to worry if you are gonna have an accident. Rest assured, it's normal.

Get that 2nd opinion. Keep us posted! Hope things go well for you and I wish you 10 fingers and 10 toes!

Usually in the last couple of months of pregnancy, the uterus sits heavily on top of the bladder. This causes less filling of the bladder which causes you to go more often. With the extra weight on the bladder, the additional dribbling is most likely caused by a small kink in the urethra. This should resolve after the delivery, if you have no other signs of urinary tract infection. (burning, pain when urinating, blood from bladder, low back kidney area pain, etc..)
As for the bleeding... If its only a smear that you notice on the toilet paper, or even just a little more than that, it probably means you are doing too much physically and need to rest a bit. However, anything more than that should indicate something is most likely wrong. There are certain ways that the placenta lies in the uterus. If the Dr. says your placenta is up high instead of near the cervix, then it wouldn't be a placental complication. Hope this helps.

sounds like to me you are trying to lose your mucus plug. you need to tell the doctor about the pee two..Signs of Pre-term (premature) labor:

Pre-term labor bleeding is usually characterized by being light pink or brownish in color. The woman may feel signs of labor during this time.

Bleeding may occur if you have abnormalities of the placenta. If you have conditions such as placenta previa, you may experience bleeding. This is due to the placenta pulling away from the area of the cervix. Usually bleeding will occur around the 34th to 38th week if at all.

bleeding at 8 months is a sign for concern

having some pee at 8mo (i'm not a doctor) is probally normal for your stage of pregnency as the baby is putting pressure on your bladder at this stage so coughing sneezing even laughing can cause that. as far as the spotting i'm not sure I would ask him again on that. take care!!
