You're pretty tall, so 165 isn't bad at all.

Also, you're 13! Don't worry too much. There's a good chance you'll start to slim down a little as you go through puberty more. If you want to lose weight, don't go on any crazy diets - you're young enough that they could really screw up your growth. Instead just exercise alot. Run around, play sports, etc. etc. Just be active.

If you want the brutal honest truth, being a girl you could lose 30 pounds. I'm not being mean.. You weigh as much as I do and I'm a muscular guy twice your age at 26 years old..

Fortunately you're at the age where you can make a difference easily by running on the treadmill 30 mins a day at 80% of your maximum heart rate 3 days a week.

Darlin' you are nowhere near needing to worry about whether you are fat or not! Your body is going to do so much changing within the next few years, that what you weigh now isn't going to matter so much as the self-image that you are beginning to form of yourself! DO NOT let someone else tell you that you are too fat. You are perfect for your height right now. There aren't too many kids your age (male or female) that are as tall as you are, therefore, naturally you are going to weigh more than your friends. Do not use them as your guide. Your build (not to be confused with your height) can determine what weight is ideal for you also. If you tend to be larger boned and muscular, you are going to weigh more than the lean beanpole type. If you can learn NOW to accept and appreciate yourself for who you are, it will save you a lot of stress and insecurity in the future! Have fun and enjoy your individuality!!!!

Truth be told. Sort of. But just a little. To solve this prolem, eat good (that means no junk food like trans fatty food, fast food, candy, pop) and do a lot of cardio workouts (like the treadmill, bike, jump rope, stairs, elliptical machine, etc.) but the best workout, since it works basically every cell in your body, is jumping on a trampoline.

You are not fat; you are only 13 and will probably grow even more. As someone who started gaining weight around your age, my advice is to avoid fast food and find some sort of exercise you like.

I went to www.google.com and typed in BODY MASS WEIGHT and went to the bmi caclulater. According to that chart you are overweight. You are in the 67th percentile. Which means you are heavier then 67% of girls your age and height. Try getting into sports and eating healthier. I'm having the same problem and I try to drink lots of water
