I'd be very surprised if the USA team mounted a threatening challenge to my pick to win the cup in 06. I'm an Aussie and my heart is with my beloved Socceroo's, but I love the Italian side and watching them play. Great technicians of the game. I followed them in the 2002 cup also and was devastated when they were knocked out. I think the score will be the same as their previous game. Italy 3 USA 0. Good luck Italy, this Aussie girl is counting on you, after the Socceroo's of course, to take that cup away from Brazil.

I think that the USA played very bad in the opener against the Checks.Whether this carries to the next game is up to them.The way the Czecks ran through the USA defense was embarassing.WE waited four years for this and they did not bring anything to the pitch.They played with no sense of wanting to win.You know Donovan said they play as a team andthats why they are one of the best teams the we have ever had ..I saw no team work at all.Donovan needs to take control off the midfield with o'Brian and the yneed to make the team work.The offense had no chances until Johnson got on the pitch and even then they were not clear chances.I know we were down 3-0 but Wolfe needs to bring more .Mcbride I feel for the guy cause he got no good crosses from Beasley or Convey...If the USA plays like this on Saturday ,you think Rosicky made the defense look silly ..Totti is gonna have a hay day,and yes the Americans will be booked for a fishing trip in the near future.

the us is coming out to prove something so they will play at there best. Italy is not a power house like all the other years but the us should have a 50 % chance to win.
