Just for questioning purposes.. I need to know if Japan dislikes America. Not Japan as a whole population [because, there are a lot of people I'm sure that don't hate us], just as a general sterotype?

♡In my opinion NO Japan does NOT dislike the United States. If that were true, I think I would find it impossible to live here. (I'm American living in Japan for almost 9 years now.) ☆Perhaps as in all cases there are certain individuals that do though. Same as any place. As an American living in Japan I see the "western" influence is found many places throughout Japan, from movies/media/music, houses, fashion/clothes, food... I have never been treated badly or been subjected to any type of discrimination. I don't think that would be so if Japan hated the US. Many Japanese choose to travel to the US for their holidays, which are important since they have so few. Many Japanese enjoy and think that learning English is necessary. Many Japanese people express an interested in "the American way". If they disliked the USA, I'm sure they wouldn't do any of these things. I think Japan has good relations with the US. But that's just my opinion.♡

I don't like your Boss.
I don't like the attitude that "we are the best,""we always right."
I don't like that the fact US troops have killed civilian in Mid East, can't blame what Japan did in the war time.
Actually it is said that the number of patriot and anti-America have been increased considerably after 911.
However, many ppl like American culture as well. Don't worry.
I like America, too.
but I don't wanna take a walk on the bush in United States...

Hi!! I'm Japanese.
Almost Japanese like USA. They yearn for USA. They'd like to visit and know about fashion, music or something.
But a few people don't like USA. There are many rerasons. US Armed Forces in Japan, Iraq War, or etc.
In my case, I like USA, of course. But I was shocked by the racial discrimination when I learned about history in university.

I'm japanese and I don't think many people dislke U.S!!
Maybe in some generation it could be.. but like in my generation doesn't think like that!! Anyway in my generation people doesn't like japanese goverment...
As people know japan looks like a pet of U.S!!
I had lived in U.S when I was 6, 7 years old and it was so good experience for me! People were so kind to my family and at school everone was so polite!!
If you want to know about japanese why don't you come!!!
It's really nice in Japan!

I don't think that's the case that Japan hates the USA. First off many countries should be thanking us instead of turning their backs on us because we gave them billions of dollars (especially during world wars and during crisis) and they just act snooty. But Japan has always been our loyal trading partners. I stayed in Japan and they were very nice to me.

I am Japanese but I like United States. I like American music and movie. And I love NBA. My favorite player is Reggie Miller. I want to go United States.

Why would they hate us, they own us! At the end of WW2 they said there was more than one way to conquer a country.

I think Japanese doesn't hate american people,but some japanese people maybe feel them scared.
