If you stacked up 400 million pieces of reguler xerox paper how high would it go?

500 sheets into 400,000,000 sheets = 800,000 reams
2.5 inches (a ream) X 800,000 reams = 3,000,000 inches
3,000,000" divided by 12 inches= 250,000 ft

I'm sitting on my couch right now relaxing, so I'm not going to jump up and do this. However, if you want an easy way to do this, just stack 400 sheets of xerox paper (I reccomend using pre-counted packages to save time, being sure to take off the wrapping), and measure how high they are as accurately as possible. Then just multiply your answer by one million, and convert that to the appropriate unit of measurement,

Paper comes in reams of 500 sheets, so I'd figure out how many reams of paper are in 400 million and then multiply that by the thickness of a ream (approx 2.5")
