500 sheets= 1 ream
500 sheets into 400,000,000 sheets = 800,000 reams
2.5 inches (a ream) X 800,000 reams = 3,000,000 inches
3,000,000" divided by 12 inches= 250,000 ft

I'm sitting on my couch right now relaxing, so I'm not going to jump up and do this. However, if you want an easy way to do this, just stack 400 sheets of xerox paper (I reccomend using pre-counted packages to save time, being sure to take off the wrapping), and measure how high they are as accurately as possible. Then just multiply your answer by one million, and convert that to the appropriate unit of measurement,

Paper comes in reams of 500 sheets, so I'd figure out how many reams of paper are in 400 million and then multiply that by the thickness of a ream (approx 2.5")

hope i got the correct answer
400,000,000 sheets
divided by 500 sheets (1 ream of paper)
equals 800,000 reams of paper
multiplied by 2 inches (thickness of a ream of paper)
equals 1,600,000 inches high
divided by 12 (inches in a foot)
equals 133,333.33333.... feet high
divided by 3 (feet in a yard)
equals 44,444.443 yards high
(which equals that many yards sticks high stacked end to end.)

Depends on the thickness of the paper. 20# paper is thicker than 16# paper, so you need to specific exactly which kind of paper.

500 sheets of paper = 5cm
100 sheets = 1cm
1 sheet = 0.01cm
400, 000, 000 sheets = 4,000,000cm
4,000,000cm = 40,000m = 40km
