Yes there is a race problem still. No place is worse, it's just different...in the south you KNOW you aren't liked, they let it be known right up front.
In the north it's more covert, peopel smile at you but you better not date their son or daughter.

yes, but it has been in this world for a long, long time and I doubt if it will ever go away anytime soon. But there is so many of us that see no color, just ordinary people. We are happier people. It takes love and common sense to know that there are some evil people in this world that has some serious mental problems and that we can't hate a whole race of people because their relative was killed by a black man, vice versa. In every race there is some beauty. Not all is bad. That's like saying that I hate all dogs because one dog killed my cat! We are in this world and we have got to go through some things that don't make any sense whatsoever but we will survive it. I can't answer whether it is more racism in the North or the South because because some are silent with their racism while others make it loud and clear.

Yeah, theres still big issues with race today in the US. Instead of the African Americans being the biggest racial prejudice, Hispanics are pulling ahead since a lot of them are illegal aliens and they "take the white mans job". But racism is a big part of the US today but it has went down since the slave ages. As for the north and south question, I would say the south since they are the "hillbilly" states and some hillbillies are very racist. But there is still racism in the north as well..

Absolutely. As long we see our cities, communities, jobs and relationships segregated (in general) along lines of race, for whatever reason, race is still an issue. Until we can relate in all these ways without concern about skin color (SKIN COLOR!) it is an issue.
I don't know what will change it. I wish I knew. There are too many factors.
I live in the South and see it, but I cannot imagine that it is any different in the North.

Yes, racism is alive and well in the US. Having lived in both the North and the South as a black person, I would say the North tends to be a little less blatant with it.

Yes. The sad truth is that as long as there are people that differ from each other when talking about "race" there will be people that don't like another "race" for one reason or another. We just all need to realize that people are different, so what? We are all humans and we all have to live on this planet together, whether people like it or not.

What do you mean by "race problem" america is made up of every race in the world, that is why it is the best country in the world, with out so much diversity, america would suck, people complain about mexicans taking are jobs, but they take the lowest paying and crappiest jobs, no otehr people will takethose jobs, so why are you complain, there is no "race problem" in america, america is amde up of everyrace in teh world, which makes it so perfect, but there will always be contraversy between races, thatss enevitable.

I live in Tennessee and there is a lot of tension between the races. Whites hate blacks and blacks hate whites. Our cultures are miles apart and people don't feel comfortable in mixed company. The blacks want money for slavery and whites act like they're not to blame. I don't know what the solution is but there are definitely problems in the USA.....)(
