Do you have a Gmail account? If you do then you can try Google Page Creater. It is very intuitive to use. It was designed for those who are not necessarily computer savvy. they have a lot of great looking templates to use and you get two free blogs. it's free to join and fun to use with great support.

www.geocities.com, www.bravenet.com. There are quite a few. Personally, I use Bravenet because they are really good at a lot of things.

if you have msn you can make an msn space, its pretty cool... msn spaces is really good to write blogs and stuff on, and people can leave comments on your blog...try it... spaces.msn.com
