Just bought my new 50" Plasma TV (Panasonic) at Sears on sale for $3150. Everywhere else (just about) had it at retail for $3499. Some like Best Buy had it on sale for $3350.

With Sears I saved money. Plus I applied for their credit card and got a 5% rebate ($150) and 6 months interest free no payments etc.

They are GREAT for buying APPLIANCES and ELECTRONICs like TVs etc.

Sears is only good for the hardware and the appliances. In fact, they're widely known for carrying the most comprehensive list of Craftsman products. The clothes are very cheap and not properly made, in terms of kids and casual clothing. They also sell brands like Dickies, which is perfect for hard work. Overall, Sears is great for the hardware. The service can vary from location to location.

I just got the best pair of shoes (some silver metallic ones) from Sears. There was one pair, size six, for display, but they were a notch too small for me, so I asked the sales lady for a 6.5 or 7, and she took a quick look, went into the back room, and brought back a pair of both sizes. I ended up buying a 6.5. I had been looking for a pair like these FOREVER, and I had spent all day looking for them in the mall. I checked Sears as a last-ditch effort, and they were there! And for only $30! (I found a similar pair earlier at another store for $70.) So I kind of love Sears right now.

I've bought clothes from there when i was like 11 and under on a few occations. If your over the age of 12 and buying clothes from sears then that is bad. Their stuff sucks. Applicance wise they are good.

My nearest Sears is 38 miles away, that's why I shop @ Wal*Mart (Wally*World) which is 2 1/2 Miles away.

Besides why would I go all that far just to try to figure out what there signs say, I don't read spanish. I'm Native American we have been using English for years, we find it easier to get along that way.

I don't really like Sears anymore. They don't have many clothes, the prices kind of stink and it seems as if their focus is more on appliances which I really don't care for anyhow.

My husband loves Sears for their hardware department. I USED to shop there for home appliances and sometimes clothes.

I became nauseated there when their signs started being printed in SPANISH!!!!! Hello?????????????

I live in America???

I don't shop their any longer...if they want to cater to the "spanish speakers" that's their choice, but they just lost this chick's business...

I have always liked Dillards, Kmart and Walmart.
Not into Sears. Always thought they were overly priced on everything.

I bought a treadmill from them for considerably lower then the competitors price, but a feature of it didn't work. Thier customer service department was a nightmare! They kept trying to brush me off. It took way longer then it should have for them to repair it.
