I was thinking the best way would be to make a fence of sheer flat tin sheets as that material would be too slippy for their feet to take hold and grip and to climb over, but that would be very, very expensive and extremely unsightly. I want the fence to protect my pet rabbits, as the poor rabbit is the weasels favourite food :-(

Weasels are tiny animals and can get through the smallest hole. They are also fierce and very determined hunters.
On the other hand they are also shy and easy to scare off. They shouldn't be a problem during the day. You could get a plastic owl and teach your rabbits that its harmless; they sell plastic owls to scare off other predators.
If at night you have your rabbits in a secure hutch, especially if the hutch is in a building, you should be ok just weasel proofing the hutch. That'd be a good idea because the hutch would then also be rat and ferret proof.
If the hutch is up on legs, put a squirrel proof dish on each leg. These are plastic discs that stop squirrels getting up the post of your bird feeder.

try a chain link fence, but dig it down into the dirt a good two or three feet (to keep bunnies from escaping) and put ply-wood over the top, at least two feet away from the fence, so the little guys cant get to the other side.

It seems that a rabbit hutch would work best.
Or a closed in pen with chicken wire on roof too.
It will need a floor or you would need to plant all sides about 18" under ground.

Weasles are resourseful and persistant!
