How do you feel about 13 year girls getting pregnant?

I think 13 year old girls are not ready to have babies. They are still children themselves. What does a 13 year old that should be getting ready for high school know about taking care of a baby? 13 year olds should only be concerned with homework not taking care a baby much less on how they will support this child. Getting pregnant at 13, no way. You shouldn't even be thinking of having sex at this age. Have a life first.

I think her parents ought to be put away and the child given up for adoption. There is no responsibility in the family. That is a child having a child. This is not the old west where people only lived until they were 30 and got married at 13. Today some kids have sex because their parents don't have the b*lls to control and discipline their kids. Lock up the parents and give the kids to someone who will love and care for them.

I totally do not agree with a 13 year old getting pregnant.
She has barely reached puberty and she's already having sex.
No way.

Right now I'm 14, I cannot even imagine myself having a child at this age. Since, at the age of thirteen, a girl is not even fully develop she isn't capable of providing a growing child inside her with the right nutrients. It takes away from her health.

Being pregnant at such a young age can cause much stress. Especially being in school. School can be hard enough. Then with a baby? That must be even harder.

I totally have respect for teenage mothers who are still in school or have graduated high school. Not many people can do that.

Why dont you people give it a rest...there are more issues in this world worth debating over besides a 13 year old getting pregnant...LIKE war or world hunger. Yes it is wrong for a 13 year old to be having babies but who knows maybe your kid will get pregnant at 13.

I didn't even get my period until I was 13! The last thing I thought about at that age was boys, let alone sex. My parents made sure to keep me active in sports-in school and out of school. This kept me out of a lot of trouble. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 20 and at 26 still have no children, my education has always come first. I just wish our younger generations could feel this way too.

It is completely wrong because their bodies are not ready yet for pregnancy. I don't know what's happening to this kids nowadays. Sometimes, this problems occur because of lack of interest in sports and studies, media influence, negligence of parents and sometimes, because of rape.

We cannot blame them but we should do something to avoid these kids from being pregnant at early age. Teenage pregnancy is a trap for some girls because they lose their interest in going back to school, they're still not mature enough to handle such responsibilities and other stuffs.

Hope this problem will somehow lessen the numbers of kids getting pregnant everyday at early age.

I feel it is not the best Idea cause they are still baby's from experience It is the hardest thing you will ever do. If you are smart you will wait in till you are married or at least in your 20's. I love my kids alot but it has been so hard not only are you a baby to the father most likely will not stay around and then you are stuck. It's very scary

I dont think its right. I mean where in the world are there parents? When your 13 your still a kid your self you still need to finish growin up and experience life. Wait til your married to have sex or make sure when you have sex you know all the consequences.

I think its wrong cuz the 13 year old can't take care of a baby. That would also make the 13 year olds parents look bad.
