Greed is what makes me want money.

I've plenty of people say that it's just a game and that whoever dies with the most money wins, and it's just simply that. is competetition greedy? is michael jordan greedy? find what you're good at doing and be the best you can be.
but I think there's also a level of personal comfort involved, for us non michael jordans. at what amount of money do you feel safe and comfortable? what lifestyle do you want? what does it take to get it.
and then third there are those that don't or can't manage their money well at any amount and constantly think that having more will somehow fix the mis-management problem..

both make a person WANT to make a lot of money, the greedy one will never be satisfied, the one with the personal agenda may be able to enjoy it depending on what that agenda and the reasons behind it were.

Greed and stupidity. We pay our teachers, police officers, firemen and military little more than minimum wage. A Senator or Congressman makes more than $150,000.00 a year plus has an almost unlimited expense account. How stupid is that?

I don't think that money is always the goal. I think that most people need to feel needed, valued or important to have their own self-esteem built, and I think that's what drives them to success. And, ultimately, money.
Now, this does not include those truly great people that have actually "created", "designed", or "nutured" something that makes lots of money!!!

I want to make a lot of money because I grew up poor, and I don't want that for my children (should I have any). My mom is 61 and has no prospects for retirement unless one of us wins the lottery...I would like to have a secure future and not have to live paycheck to paycheck.
