Very hard is not equal to impossible. You sound very naive... It is good that you felt so strongly, now find someone who deserves that devotion. You don't have to forget, just move on. Give it time, they say that it takes 1 year for every 4 years you were together to get over someone. In the meantime, find something else to do. Do all the things you ever dreamed of doing...travel, get an education, parachuting, whatever does it for ya, but don't mope around and wallow in self-pity, because I guarantee she isn't!

I am a woman who had 2 children and divorced after 17 yrs. What I did was live. Someone told me that the best revenge is to do well. It is important to be that example to your kids that you can have a good life after divorce and please dont play the kids against each other, it is not fair to them. And they continue to love u both.

Do as I did after 15yrs of marriage try to recycle your relationship you both know each others hopes and dreams and you both know what brought on the divorce now try and fix it and as you do this watch the children as they to will be there for you two and be there for them

If your job has it; go to EAP. Also, see if there is any groups for divorced people in your town. You need to talk to others. Do not go this one alone. Too heavy a burden.
