We noticed about 4 going under the shed about a week ago. We put down some lime and mothballs, Now this week my husband went into the shed and a bunch of flies were in there, They weren't in there last week I think we may have kiilled one w the moth balls . Any and all suggestions welcome. Will traps and calling the city help?

Basically you wanna use a granular form of castor oil, starting closest to your property, house, etc... and gradually working themn away from your property. Hey, everything I've heard from him has always worked best.

Very hard to rid. Usually by putting something in their holes only makes them make a new tunnel, usually right next to the other. If you want a friendly way...human hair in the holes, cover up and keep this up for along time! There are live traps you can purchase at home and garden centers or farm and ranch stores, You just have to choose a location far away!
If you are wanting to eradicate them, besides poison, A hose attached to your exhaust pipe will work. Pick a hole, and cover the others up, takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Seems cruel I know, but they carry many diseases and are a threat to structures and health.
Good luck and God Bless
