I typically take Arnica (a homeopathic product) as needed several times a day for pain plus 800 mg. of Aleve and a 1000 mg. flaxseed oil capsule every night at bedtime. It usually keeps my pain in check, although when I don't get enough sleep (which has been happening a lot recently), I'll have flareups.

This is not a simple question to answer. I would checkout the Fibromyalgia Newsletter website. Please try to be more specific with your question because fibro has so many symptoms and treatments associated with it. Some people have many; some just a few, but ALL have the tender points and a high sed rate.

My mother has fibromyalgia and so does one of my class mates. My mother said acupuncture did wonders for her, and my class mate said that staying active helped her. Of course you will have bad days, but the good can outweigh the bad if you keep active and limber according to both of their doctors.

Take frequent rest breaks. Don't overdue. If the meds aren't helping let the Dr. know so he can try something different. You just kinda have to figure out what works best for you.....
