personally. women of yesterday are greater than us now. they had more strict standards to live by and they probably had a lot more pressure and expectations from men.

In some parts of the world it has improved, in the United States treatment of women is better than in other parts of the world compared to Afganistan and in some Islamic countries, however even in the United States women are still marginalized, they are paid lower than men and are still treated as second class citizens in some parts of the country.

They are less than equal than they use to be. Now that they do the same work , play the same sports, etc. They are equal. Before in the older days they use to be more equal. Men honored them more, respected them more and put them on a pedestal.
