Believe it or not, I use the very inexpensive Wet and Wild in the black tube, no tthe white one. It stays on all day long, does not smudge once dry and does not clump either. Its great also because you are supposed to change your tube of mascara every six to eight weeks to avoid eye infections, and the price makes that very easy to do. As for the brush, I've never been able to tell the difference personally, I think that it is all in the natural shape of your lashes and the motion that you use to apply it. Good luck!

The curved is better but straight is fine too.
The best brands are the Fantastic lash from covergirl for thick long eye lashes.
Then the multiplying mascara by covergirl it separates and lenghtens
The exact lash by covergirl is very good because your lashes won't stick to each other and the brush has special brisels

The type of brush doesn't really matter as long as you have a good mascara. Try Mary Kay's Ultimate Mascara ($15). It's exclusive, all-in-one formula delivers long, thick, voluminous-looking lashes. And it has Smart Wiper⢠technology that delivers the exact amount of mascara you need for maximum plumping – without the clumping. Comes in black and black brown.

Mary Kay's Ultimate Mascara gives you both - an awesome, lash-building formula with a fantastic brush. Seriously. You know when you first buy mascara and it always gets that extra bit at the end, and you inevitably touch the inner corner of your nose with it and have a big smudge? Yeah - this brush doesn't do that. Seriously, that made my day when I finally tried it!

L'Oreal Volumunous, Maybelline Full and Soft, or Max Factor 2000 Calorie. In that order. Curved or Straight is all about your preferrence.

Almay or Maybellline is my favorite brand for mascarra, but it really depends on your style for the brush type. I like the straight ones because I dont look good with really curly eyelashes, but if you do go for the curved one.

I prefer curved brushes because they get all your lashes easier and make it less likely to get it all over
