Worst Center...

Good Question.

Many come to mind.

Uwe Blab who played for the Golden State Warriors was terrible
Yinka Dare and his 6 career assists was the pits.
Manute Bol hit 6 three's in one game, so he can't be all that bad.
Benoit Benjamin was pretty damn bad too.

My pick for worst center ever goes to Randy Brewer of the Timberwolves. So bad, it's making me cry as we speak.

Ostertag, all the other centers have been awarded starting jobs and have done some decent things at those jobs, except Dare, he may be worse, but Ostertag is pretty bad.

Yikina Dare was pretty bad he was the number one pick and he barely got off the bench. Much worse than Ostertag. Ostertag wasn't too bad.

Manute Bol or Chuck Nevitt. Most younger fans out there weren't around when they played... Bol was 7'6" and Nevitt was 7"5'.

Keeping this in mind, check out their career stats:

and

(Bol)

Especially check out the "Per Game" section of their stats... then tell me Wilt was only good because he was 7'1".

They both lasted 10 years...they are probably the worst players ever to have a 10 year career (even Ilgauskas, who I make fun of a lot, is better than these two guys). Not that they ever appeared in 82 games in a season or anything like that...they rode the bench for the most part.

Those two come to mind right away. I'm sure there are many others who would qualify. But Vlade isn't one of them... Vlade had excellent basketball skills (typical European), even though he loved...and I mean LOVED... to flop.

It's probably someone who never played, because they were the worst center of all time.
