I have a dell computer and know several people that do too (including the office where I work) and I've never heard or experienced anything bad.
Hope this helps you :-)

Personally, I don't like Dell. But that's just me. If you want my opinion, I don't think anyone should buy a Dell. They use the cheapest components they can find, memory, hard drives and so on, stick them in the system and you're off. They also use non-ATX parts so it is impossible to upgrade your motherboard or power supply. I honestly don't know who I would buy a computer from, I build my desktops and I'm very picky when it comes to picking a laptop.

I bought a new one in January. The hard drive crashed not even 5 months after I bought. They did fix it though.

they r ok if you don't buy the printer that comes with it. the problem with the printer is that u can only buy the ink from dell. I have one and it sucks when the ink runs out. u CAN NOT BUY INK AT WAL-MART OR NO OTHER STORE

Pretty good, but not superior to anything else out there. Do your shopping b/c sometimes they can be a tad overpriced.

depends what you're looking for. if you want to buy something for as little as possible, get one. if you want a high-end machine, then you should build it yourself.
