is the song yesterday by the beatles considered difficult to play on guitar?

i've been playing for about a year and i'm trying to figure how i rank agaisnt other guitarists. im guessing pretty low since ive been playing for such a short time. anyways this is the hardest song i can play right now

Well , honestly - if you can play it EXACTLY like it was recorded, i mean all the chords in the right place and all that , then that IS something , cause a lot of people can say they can play "such and such" songs , but in reality they aren't even close! know what i mean? Having said that, for 1 yr experience you ain't doing to bad! For me the song is easy , but i've been playing 25+ years. Are you singing it at the same time? Cause that's cool too, it's a pretty self contained song that sounds full with just 1 guitar and the vocal, a good classic beatles tune....

Their early stuff like 63-65, in case you gain knowledge of like five songs the entire means by way of, go on to sixty six-sixty eight, and if you're looking for a mission right here Comes The solar, one of the most hardest songs (ever) to play on the guitar

Yesterday is a pretty simple song, I'd say. A lovely melody, but not really in any way hard to play.

The only real trick to it is McCartney tuned down a full tone to play it - he played it in G but it was rendered in F because of the tuning.

On the difficulty scale I would say it's between low difficulty to medium.

Good job so far though. Guitar's an awesome instrument.

McCartney can't even play it on his native piano, so I suppose it's almost imposs... Who would want to? Even as a boomer, I feel "Yesterday" is one of the biggest, phony peice of crap that's ever been recorded.
