If you have to ask what you should get you probably shouldn't get one yet. It's totally a personal decision that you and you alone should make. Think about it and really take time deciding what you want on you for the rest of your life. Something that's important to you, has meaning. Do research in picking an artist too. Look at portfolios and remember Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. But once you get one, you'll want more. They are very addicting. Good luck!

How long have you been thinking about getting a tattoo?

You should get something that has real meaning to you. Sit down and really think about it before actually going through with it. This is something that will be with you the rest of your life. Yes, I know you can get it surgically removed with a laser, but it's really expensive, usually takes more then 1 treatment and I heard it hurts more then getting the tattoo.

You don't want to get something that you will regret later on. I thought about for 4 years before actually getting mine. I've had it for just over a year, and haven't regretted it at all.

A good site if you want to see different designs of actual tattoos is www.tattoojohnny.com

You can even purchase the "stencil" for the one you want and take it to the artist of your choice.

Here's what NOT to get: anything tribal, anything with Chinese or Japanese characters, any kind of band name/symbol and any kind of cartoon character. These things date themselves very quickly, and can be obnoxious to look at. (Remember, other people will likely be looking at your tat more than you!)

Here's what TO get: something with intense personal meaning to you that is in a place that you can hide or cover as you see fit. Remember too that your body and skin will age... find a place that either won't sag or that you can cover if it does!

But generally speaking, if you actually have to ask what kind of tat you want, you shouldn't get one. Don't get a tat just to get one - get a tat because you have something deeply personal that you want to be marked with forever. Tattoos aren't cool unless they mean something to you.

None. You'll be glad when you turn 40 and your *** or your **** or your arms are sagging because the realities of life have caught up with you and you no longer have time to work out because you are taking care of your kids, doing your job... A tattoo is a lifelong committment, just like kids. They don't take care of themselves.

Well, it depends on what u want. If I were u I would get something small like a butterfly on my back. I had a friend wha got a tattoo of a lady bug on her toe, it looked really cute. It really depends on what u want to get.

Whatever is important to you. A tattoo is a personal expression.
