for I rawk your socks....I am a 36 woman who doesnt know the difference I heard it on the news the other day and was just curious...You need to learn some manners and not assume everything

Federalism focuses on the idea of a balance between the local individualized governments of the states and the large unified Country-wide government, i.e. our federal government. Separation of powers can refer to what is constitutionally given to the federal government and what is left to the states.

federalism calls for a strong national government but still leaves some power to the states, the other one..., i do not know.
