NOOO!!!! a PCI-e card will not fit in an AGP slot, and I would not recomend trying to fit it in a PCI slot, either get an AGP card or get a new motherboard that has atleast one PCI-e slot. After just looking up info on your motherboard I would suggest just getting and AGP card because you wouldn't be able to get a motherboard that supports your CPU and system memory with a PCI-e slot. If money isn't too much of a problem, I have found a good GeForce 6800XT for $146.99.

Technically, it will fit into one of the PCI slots that are on your Asus P4P800, but it will fry the second that you turn the computer on. So, you only have the choice of using an AGP card, or a PCI card, which is many times slower than AGP.

No. You can't use a PCIe card in an AGP slot, they are completely different interfaces. You need to purchase an AGP card if all you have is an AGP slot. DO NOT attempt to put a PCIe card into the AGP slot. Purchase an AGP card. Here's a 6800XT for $130, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130268 after rebates.

first of all. all graphic cards fit all motheboards. all you have to is see if what kind of graphic cards your motherboard supports.
it could be either a pci, pci express or agp.
pci-express its the best one. for this slot i would recomend x1600 pro with 512mb of ram. this is what i have it will let you play all top end game at high settings.
hope this helps
