What song got you "into" Metallica, and what age were you when you heard it? For me it was "Until It Sleeps," I was about 13 yrs old. How about you?

Wow man thats awesome because thats the first song that I heard from Metallica that I really liked and I was probably 12 or 13.
Enter Sandman got me into them hardcore though.

When I was 12, I was offered to join a band and l did. We had a gigat this one park. It was a song that the whole band liked and that's basically how i grew to know and love Metallica.

I bet my story trumps everyones. I was running around L.A. during the early 80's when Metallica were based THERE, and played clubs around the area, and read stories about em and saw that they released "Kill em All" and bought it at a local record shop without even hearing anything first.
