Because in creating and controlling the flows of supply and demand, there is much to be gained. And so it is now about those who stand to gain, not those who need the resources that are being manipulated and rendered scarce.

People keep too much for themselves out of fear. Ignorance fuels fear. Fear fuels greed. Greed fuels inequity. Inequities fuel conflict. Conflict causes fear...

We fear being poor when we should really be afraid of our planet crumbling under the weight of all our fears.
