That's one of the worse ideas I have ever heard of!! They would be scoring like crazy which would mean a whistle blowing all the time. You would never get any momentum built up in the game.

That rule would be rather stupid. If you don't like hockey don't watch, trust me the NHL doesn't need you. Yeah it could possiably get them new fans but they don't change the rules because it doesn't work. Even this season with offense up they didn't change the rules. They started to ENFORCE them.

It wouldn't work because they would just take another player, and conviently place him in front of the goal, for the whole game except for the last ten min.
