Did you ever play any musical instrument(s) when you were younger, and if so, what instrument(s) did you play? Do you still play or can you still play those instruments?

I have played piano since I was 3.
I also play flute, clarinet, saxophone, autoharp and tin pipe.

I started out playing the saxophone in middle school. I quit playing it to dedicate more time for sports. However, with the foundation that I gained from that in regards to harmony, notes and arrangements, I was able to learn the guitar and piano after high school.
I got into guitar and learned the guitar using Guitar Magazine transcriptions. I was able to leverage my background to learn the guitar and leads.
I was also interested in learning to play the accordion and taught myself that.
I still play all of the instruments now. I did let them go for a few years. It is like riding a bike in that you never forget.
I picked up all of the instruments again and joined a band. I am now dabbling in some songwriting too.
Music is a great creative getaway!

I play the piano, guitar and I sing. This evening at Vacation Bible School, I played a shofar!

I played piano and guitar. I still play guitar but I'm not much better. I just try and make my own stuff.

Used to play the clarinet after I was told I couldn't play the drums because I was a girl...grrr. No, I don't play it anymore.

i played the recorder in the fourth grade. i can't play it anymore though. i didn't play any instruments thru school, i was always in choir.

I played bass in my brother's rock band years ago, but I haven't practiced in years, so I've forgotten everything. Now, I'm an electronic musician--I play everything on my computer.

Yes, a guitar and I hated it and quit because I wanted to show horses more.Oh, I forgot Mom made me play coronet and oboe in school. Hated it !
