Now they are, though they probably weren't the wisest ten before the plague. Simple set theory tells us that they are now the wisest ten, as well as the most ignorant ten. They also have excellent immune systems or are perhaps antisocial.

Not necessarily, they might just be the chosen ones to begin the next world. I heard recently that a man was placed in a MRI suffering from headaches. They noted a white blue aura surrounding him. Later that day he was shot. They did another MRI and the aura was broken at the neck. Why is it some people's aura's break and others stay stable? How do some people get in accidents and survive and others don't? Watch little kids, it's amazing that most survive 1/4 of the things that they do. When it's our time we go and when it's not we don't. It's not for us to say.

But regardless of their wisdom, I hope that at least one of them is from a different sex (and is able to conceive), and that this person is not alone, or else they will be the last ten wisest people in the world.

Nope, they are just blessed or crazy. Probably those crazy homeless/hobos who allways say that the world is going to end, or something like that. They're prepared for that.

No, 5 have no clue while the other 5 are wise, yet all of them are immune to the plague because their body are most adaptable to changes.

It could be the dumbest person alive along with the wisest, it doesn`t matter, those ten survivors are alive because they got lucky.
How else can you explain it?

is this before or after the plague, if its after, then they are the wisest because there's no other competition...so to speak.
