Talk to her about it.

Does it feel right? Could you live without her? Could she live without YOU? If you just can't survive without her, go for it. If you BOTH feel it's right and it's time - go for it.

How can she be your "ex" if your basically still together. Marriage is a big step. If you're not ready or not sure about it, don't do it. Otherwise, if it's what you sure you want, go for it. But if you want to find out whether or not she'd be accepting to it. On a "date", just drop by a jewlery store, acting like your looking for a watch and then just make a stop at the "ring" section and see how she reacts. If she seems a little excited, just say, I think this kind of diamond is pretty, what do you think and let her show you the ring she really wants....worked for me.

Never good to be a rebound. Be very careful. Of course if YOU want to marry the woman, then get her the ring. Not because she had asked you to propose. Sounds like a huge headache. Have some quiet time and ask yourself if you want to have this woman in your life FOREVER. That is of course will come with her bad times too.

Good luck

If she asked you to propose, and you did, and she said no, you have done your part... now leave it alone. She is obviously a little immature, and it sounds like she just needs her ego stroked.. I also say take the money and go on a singles cruise... it would definitely be more fun than whatever excuse she'll give you the next time... you should never have to beg for a woman's heart!!

Unless you are stuck on this woman.....I'd say...take the money for a ring and take yourself on a singles cruise.

You will have fun and can relax, talk to people, see interesting places. You probably won't run across any long-lasting relationships, but who cares.....go have fun.

I get the feeling your are not so comfortable with each other. Your familiarity with each other bonds you. So, would you spend the rest of your life with a woman though you are not ready? U want to start a life just because u want to please her. Don't give her a ring because you are pushed to do so.

Nope, chill. She said she wants time, so give her time, not a ring. Rings cost lots of dough, and you have no idea that she would say yes. If she is "testing you," she is playing games...that you don't need.

Yes, you should get her a ring and get down on one knee and propose to her again. She probably needs to know that you are serious about getting married.

Give her the ring, she's testing your love for her. Ya can't blame her, you took a long time to prove that you love her.

Talk to her before someone else grabs her! Quick! Before she gets away!

Oh, and buy her a nice sparkly ring, too.
