He did not declare conflict on Iraq. in reality Congress has the ability to declare, some thing it has no longer performed because that 1942. although, Congress did provide President Bush the authority to invade Iraq in 2003. the purpose replaced into to remove Saddam Hussein and his Baath celebration from power.

The plan is to go after Iran next, why to leave Iraq and Afghanistan if there is a bigger plan and Bush happened to have camped his troops next door. So leaving Iraq is not in the plan for anytime in the next 30-50 years.

There may be a withdrawal but never in our lifetime will there be no US presence in Iraq. We will eventually build a base and have a rocket-shots at the middle-east. But this is what was needed, we can't underestimate the threat to our country that this region is.

Never, and neither will any future presidents. The whole point of Iraq is to establish a military presence in the middle east, because Saudi Arabia won't allow it in their country, and they don't like us haveing troops in Kuwait.

We are many years from withdrawal.
There will be token troop reductions but we will have a strong presence in Iraq ten years from now.

NEVER!!!!! The next president, or the president after them will have to do it.
And don't believe anyone saying that the troops are going to pulled out soon, I've only heard that a billion times, and as far as I can see, we actually are trying to get MORE people to join the military in order to go to war!!!

He's already said that's for future Presidents to decide. What that means is he will leave office in 2009 and dump it on the man who replaces him. So what else is new? His entire life he's always lost interest in whatever he's doing and then walked away.

He will brave it out until the end of his term in 2009 and leave the mess for the next president to sort out and get the blame for quitting.
