the computer runs BF2 fine, but on low graphics. what card should I get for cheep $?

Define cheap $. There are all sorts of price ranges but if you don't want to spend too much then you have several options. I'm going to assume you have an AGP slot so my response will be limited to that. I think the Geforce 6600 is about as good as you will be able to do on a limited budget, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143056 but it is $86, I didn't know if that was too high or not.

oh well I think you should get a ati, radeon, depends on what you are running as far as processors go........
ati's run about 40 bucks and up, and you can use them for older machines that may need an extra port or two

do you have pci express on your mobo? if not, you may have to go agp
