You sound great!!! I also dislike it when a girl shows up mid afternoon with pajama pants on, and just looks like she woke up. There should be some pride taken in your appearance. At least be presentable to the general public.

I disagree. You're damaging your feet beyond repair wearing those 6" heels; when you're older you will regret it. While the "sexy" dress may look good on you, there are plenty of women who would not look good in a "sexy dress". They look better in tailored pants and a loose fitting blouse. Not wearing a dress is not synonymous with looking shabby being ugly. By your comment that they need to wash themselves, I assume you're referring to the smaller population of women who may go out with dirty hair or something. You can't know what the woman was doing; perhaps she's at the grocery store after a work-out at the gym. It takes too much effort to get dolled up after a work out when all you're going to do is get dinner and go home. Also, there are some women who don't really need makeup, and I would much rather see a woman with too little makeup than too much. (Mimi from the Drew Carey show comes to mind.)
Don't be so harsh on other women; they aren't dressing to please you anyway. You need to worry about yourself and how you look, not anyone else.

if you have to make yourself beautiful by doing all those things i feel that you have a self-esteem issue. the women who feel comfortable walking around in jogging pants and shabby hair for the most part probably feel good about themselves and dont care what anyone else thinks, they probably already have a husband or boyfriend at home that loves them the way they are. and besides who knows maybe the people you are talking about do not have enough money to go buy heels and a sexy dress.

Think of it as an opportunity for you to continue to feel good and have confidence about yourself and your daily preparation. I hear your frustration, but I've have slowly learned to accept that there are some that actually have a thought process when they enter their closet and look in the mirror. The majority of folks really don't care what you think about their appearance and that will never change no matter how many Best Dressed Shows air on VH1.

Who made you think that clothes and make up make people beautiful? Those things just cover up. Beauty comes from the inside. Even a woman or man who does a dirty job all day can be beautiful. Granted sometimes dressing up might make us feel more attractive, but those things really don't make a beautiful person. Besides, I don't know about most people, but I can't see trying to compete with air brushed models or "stars" with surgical body make overs.

Well I am 22, I have two children. And alot of people tell me that I look 15 or 16, I take it as a compliment. I love to dress casual too. I love heels. But ONE thing I don't do is wear make-up. I have natural beauty, and I don't want any make-up covering that up. But I feel that every woman had her own style, we like to look sexy and pretty, some women just like to feel comfortable. I just don't like to see those big women trying to weat holter top and mini skirts, and slippers with their feet ashy as hell...LOL.

Honestly girl, if you are not happy with what you look like after a shower, you should be taking it out on your parents not everyone else. Some of us like jogging pants, and some of us dont need makeup. (SOME) but its a terrible generalization when you put all the girls in the same boat as you...
Sad to know that some people are just not happy with themselves and have to pick on others :P

The trouble no matter how much make up you put on an ulgly mug it's still and ugly mug. I agree though dressing better and wearing makeup make a person feel better as well as look better. Still you can't make a silk hat from a sow's ear.

Wow,you hit the nail on the head!!! I feel that same way.Us as women should not exhibit ourselves in unladylike manners. I often speak to young ladies as to keeping up their hygiene and batheing habits. Yep,paint dem toes, clip yo ends, wash yo a**,I don't use alot of makeup,I don't think I need it,and if someone does,I would say use it in moderation. The sexy dress is always good with the heels. Dats right!!!

There is a difference between dress and slut. If you can not be yourself and accept others for themselves then you are the only one with the problem. If you are looking for a "you're right" or a "good point" you better look else ware. I think you are shallow and conceited and need to pull your head out of your *** and grow up and stop judging people on the way they dress.

I would never be able to wear heels, don't want to look 'sexy' just neat, and don't care to put on a lot of makeup-just enough to hide the 'real me'. I do not go out in jogging pants and I do wash.
